This sim uses two joystick controls and no way to use the tilt of your device as a control.

Works quite well. I find that it is to sensitive on the controls. It, to me, simulates the drone with settings very high, ie. tilt angle, height rise speed, etc.

Great practice and pretty realistic

I thought this sim would more like a video game. I was happy that although it is fun to tackle the challenges provided, it really is a fantastic training platform for safe practice while acquiring the basic skills to fly the real thing!

The drone simulator was a lot of fun and a good trainer before actually buying a larger drone. Obviously more landscape would be nice, but entertaining all around. Gracias!

The first ten seconds I flew my real drone it almost landed in the pool (got lucky). I used this app to get a clue and figure out the controls. Its not identical but close enough. Dont be a beginner and fly a real one without learning with this app!

Yup, saved me tons teaching without replacing any parts. Well worth it.

I was given the AE Drone as a gift from my family and having never played with a remote control device, the AR Drone was the perfect toy as it used Absolute Control and Accelerometer piloting mode. However, with the latest update if the remote control app, only the joy stick option is available. This app allows you to practice using the joy stick controller. However, a couple of improvements could be added to this simulator, such as an altimeter and speed indicator. Even without those indicators this simulator is still the AR Drone simulator to practice with.

This is an excellent flight simulator and mirrors the flight characteristics of the AR. Drone nearly perfectly. The graphics are excellent as is the animation. My only complaint is that the controls are a bit too sensitive compared to the controls when flying the actual Drone. Still, this sim is smooth, accurate, good practice without repairs ( ! ) and its fun.

This Sim is great! Remember to reset the real thing (1.0) if you get to fly one in real life. This Sim has helped me learn to fly this thing. Its fun and its kewl. I am a old guy who got this as a broken gift to repair. Makes me feel like a kid. Now time to let my son fly it.

Wish I had this sim before I started flying my Drone. This sim is excellent for training. Thanks for the great app.

Awesome a lot cheaper than slamming into the and busting a propeller great sim. Get use to flying by camera view and you will become an ace in the air

Better control for more practice before ready to be confidence in your mind, unless you control real AR Drone to be expensive and worth. It makes you much happier!

This simulator is a great way to master the controls of an AR Drone. The only thing left out was wind. My real drone has been knocked out of the sky several times by a gust of wind. Its nice to be able to practice without worrying about replacing expensive parts. AR drone owners will benefit from this inexpensive app.

This is a great simulator if you have a drone and new practice only because if your looking for fun this is not it. It could also use better programing.

Helps learning orientation and how setting affect the drone!

Ive been interested in flying a drone after seeing them for sale. I was hesitant because of the cost. This sim is a great introduction to flying a 4 fan drone. The best part is you can practice without the damage. It feels very realistic, the physics feel spot on. Graphics are great on my IPAD retina. I see room for a little improvement in the controls, but you get touch after a few flights. Im looking forward to the next update. More areas to fly and added challenges would be nice. GREAT JOB...

My son and I play this game every day. It is so fun. It is also a good trainer for the real thing. Please add more levels and the 2.0 drone. Thanks.
